Nagar is a city and a municipality in Bharatpur district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Nagar is situated in between Bharatpur and Alwar & it's famous for the sweets called "Jalewa" a bigger version of Jalebi's.

Nagar hosts a famous fair in the month of April on "Ram Navmi". Peoples from nearby areas comes to see the Ram Rathyatra which passes through the main market of the town to "Ram Mandir".This fair lasts for nearly about a week.
